I bought this car in march 2001. It caught my eye sitting on a ford dealers lot when I was on my way to purchase a 1999 blazer, as you can tell I never made it to see the blazer. I had the windows tinted the day I picked it up, 20% tint all the way around. I did the normal things that I do to my cars, I added blue neon accent tubes in the front under the dashboard,  another accent tube in the rear window, Steering wheel cover and seat belt strap covers. I left it alone for a month or so and then got the idea to add a stereo system also. The Radio Install Was the worst Radio I have EVER done, It requires replacing the whole oval panel. The First Kit I bought was From Metra I installed it and ended up removing it because it was so ugly, The plastic it was made of was no where near the plastic in the car. I bought another one from Crutchfeild it is made by Schoshe, It looks alot better, Of course I drilled two 3/4" holes in it to mount the switches for my neons So I would not damage any panels in the car.
The first thing I did Was remove the carpeting from the trunk, And Built a Base For the Amplifier to sit on, This was the easiest step.
Here is a picture of the amp I am installing, A Power Acoustik Gothic 1500wX2 along with the fuse block. This Much Power Required 4 gauge wiring along with 80 amp fuses
Next Was to build a cover For the amp, Since I still want to use the trunk if needed. And if this don't work, I got the gas there to Burn it . But it did, I carpeted it and installed the Plexiglas window.
Here is an ALMOST finished picture, Still have to cover up the sides.
Well, I got one side done, And added My handy fire extinguisher( just in case ever needed)
But that is where I stopped for now, Since I blew My Sub woofers. Will be finished Soon, Will Post new pics as soon as it is complete.
